The star comes clean about publicly messy divorce
Kelsey Grammer can apparently hold a grudge, as exemplified by his latest comments about his divorce to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills "star" Camille Grammer. The former Frasier star is blunt and unrelenting during his upcoming interview on "Oprah's Next Chapter," where, it should be said, he's promoting his new show
Boss, so anything to drum up buzz...
What seems to be itching the male Grammer is the idea that the real housewife used her status as his wife to gain fame, and then trashed him and began the divorce proceedings as a "thank you."
"You already knew your marriage was over, it had already gone on too long, according to you, because it was over when it started and it was a facade," Winfrey says to Grammer. "But you lacked the courage to come home and say something."
"Yeah, I did. And I did believe that I owed something to that person, that I owed fame," Grammer says, not being able to even say her name. "She had given up so much to just endure this horrible life she had with me," he continues, sarcastically.
This isn't the first time that Kelsey Grammer has mentioned this. He also told an Australian daytime talk show last year the same thing, calling her fame a "parting gift" from the marriage. Grammer was on camera with his current wife, Kayte Walsh, who it has been reveled was already seeing Kelsey six months before he and Cammille officially divorced in December 2011.
