As Kim Kardashian slips further along in her pregnancy with Kanye West's kid, there's still a little bit of old business she must still deal with. Actually it's a big bit of business in the form of 6'9 NBA forward Kris Humpries, who she was still technically married to as the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star and West became involved. Well, that came to an end last week when a California judge ended their 72-day tryst with a dissolution that cost her… nothing. Well, besides the lawyer fees.
Kim K stood to lose a lot more in the state of California, even married to the NBA player, who makes more than $12 million per year. When she decided to end her marriage to Humphries, he decided he didn't want to go along with her plan. He played defense and asked for $7 million in damages. The judge said no because there was not enough evidence to prove the fraud he claimed the marriage and her actions were.
However there was one sliver of victory for Humphries, and it could be a case of Kardashian mercy. After no-showing at a previous court date, the Brooklyn Net was going to be slapped with a big fine. However at the last hearing, the merciful Kim asked the judge to drop it, and he did.
