It's been a contentious divorce period for NBA superstar Dwyane Wade and his now-ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade. Recent history between them has been nothing but verbal jabs and airing of laundry, like when Funches-Wade decided to sit on a Chicago street corner outside the Daly Center and have an impromptu news conference about the then-impending divorce.
In the video, Funches-Wade sat with a cardboard sign that said "NBA Miami Heat star, mother of his children on the streets." The reason for that being her claim that Wade had not been paying his $25,000 a month in spousal support, which his attorney denied in a statement. She also noted that Wade had been consciously conflicting the schedules of Funches-Wade and her sons during her time of visitation, something Wade's attorneys also deny.
Well, it seems that most of the issues have been cleared up. That's because the two sides have come to an agreement where Funches-Wade receives $5 million, the couples' former mansion in South Holland (Chicago) and four cars.
One of the rumored provisions of the deal was a "non-disparage" agreement that prevented either of the two from making disparaging remarks about each other in public. This was obviously after Funches-Wade's sidewalk demonstration, so we'll see how this turns out in the end.
