R&B legend Toni Braxton has been waiting a long time for a judge to unbreak her heart. That's because all the way back in 2009, she split from her husband of 12 years, Keri Lewis. Unfortunately, because of legal issues, the divorced was only finalized last week.
Six-time Grammy winner Braxton, who stars in the reality show "Braxton Family Values" with her four sisters, Trina, Traci, Tamar and Towanda, had two sons with Lewis—11-year-old Denim and 10-year-old Diezel, who is autistic. Between her impending divorce, issues with her sons and two bankruptcy, Braxton said in an October appearance on "VH1 Behind the Music" that she couldn't deal with the stress of all those situations hitting at once.
"I had to figure out a plan for my life that had nothing to do with him," she said. "I was angry with everybody. I couldn't believe this was happening to me. I felt that I was a person dealing with a lot of struggles and here comes another one."
