One name that kept popping up during the Tiger Woods fiasco three years ago was that of one of his mistresses, nightclub entrepreneur Rachel Uchitel. As someone who had been in the entertainment industry before the news of the trysts broke, Uchitel parlayed her sudden fame into more notoriety. The fame even gave her the chance to marry a younger spouse, former Penn State fullback Matt Hahn.
Unfortunately, their marriage is ending the same as Woods'—Hahn has asked for a divorce after close to two years of marriage. He is claiming cruel and inhumane treatment at the hands of Uchitel, but she is singing a different tune. According to sources close to the situation, Uchitel blames the couple's 9-year age difference as the root of the issue.
"They had an argument in the heat of the moment, and their fights are passionate. They had a late-night fight, and he claims she pushed him," a source close to Uchitel told New York's Daily News. "She wishes Matt the best. It didn't work out because he's too young."
Hahn isn't the only youngster in the case—the couple had a one-year old daughter Wyatt Lilly. The court has already given full custody of her to Uchitel, with Hahn getting weekend visitation rights. Considering the charge and the back-and-forth between sources, it's amazing that another source told the Daily News that the divorcing duo seem to be in good graces!
"Matt was texting her throughout drinks and was in her apartment baby-sitting Wyatt," Uchitel's friend Rob Shuter, host of VH1's "The Gossip Table," told the Daily News after meeting her recently. "It was all very friendly."
