Was Porsha Stewart's Split With Kordell For Real?

Posted By Demetria Graves || 6-May-2013

Some people will do anything to get on TV and experience their 15 minutes of fame. However, once they're there and the cameras roll and the paparazzi bulbs pop, the lengths that some go through to stay in the limelight can be just as desperate. Don't believe us? Then let's revisit the impending divorce orReal Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Stewart to her husband, former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart.

For the past month, we've been chronicling a back and forth between the couple, who say they were divorcing due to irreconcilable differences. But news has been leaking out that the situation may not be what it seems. That's because reports are suggesting that the RHOA cast member was on the cast chopping block for next season, and the divorce was an orchestrated attempt to create enough drama to keep her on.

"Porsha found out that she was NOT going to come back on the show – and both she and her husband [Kordell] desperately wanted to stay on the Housewives. So they figured if they created a FAKE DIVORCE, like NeNe [Leakes] did – it would be enough drama for them to be asked back."

There's a lot of conjecture here, so let's back it up a moment. There's no evidence that Leakes' divorce was fake as this report notes. Also, according to someone representing Porsha, this is all false.

"That's absolutely ridiculous," said the Stewart wife rep. "Given everything this abrupt filing has put her through in the public, she would never bring something like this on herself, ESPECIALLY with them having a child in the house. She wishes things could have been different but that simply is not possible."

However, if it does come out the divorce was faked, how would you feel about it? Considering the show is supposed to be about Housewives, maybe she should have a spin-off about divorcees if it is!
