It's been a crazy summer for Robin Thicke. The "Blurred Lines" singer has arguably the song of the summer, and his MTV Video Music Awards show performance with Miley Cyrus was one of the most talked about news items for a couple of weeks.
But it was something that happened after the VMAs that has caused him much consternation. Thicke fan Lana Scolaro tweeted out a photo with the crooner that wasn't too steamy—until a viewer looks at the mirror behind them and sees his hand up her skirt. It caught fire on social media and blew up the married singer's profile even more, bringing the attention to his wife-actress, Paula Patton. Now, people are wondering if Thicke's playboy ways are getting out of control, and Patton should try to find her way out of the marriage.
Former Cosmo editor-in-chief Bonnie Fuller, on her new site HollywoodLife.com, doesn't think that kind of talk should go any further. In an op-ed on the site, Fuller writes:
"Robin, I'm glad that Paula clearly trusts you and hasn't felt the need to turn this fan butt grab into a serious relationship issue between you two. That must be because you have made her feel very loved and secure during your 20 years together — good for you."
Whether or not the talk of divorce leads anywhere for the two (their rep says they're doing fine), things aren't so rosy for actor Columbus Short. The Scandal star has filed for divorce from his future ex-wife Tanee McCall-Short in Los Angeles. She is seeking sole custody of their 19-month-old daughter, spousal support and all legal fees covered. Short, a former dancer, claims he had a fling with Britney Spears in 2003. That led to the demise of his first marriage to Brandi Short, who was eight months pregnant at the time.
