The divorce proceedings between NBA star Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade are done, but that hasn't stopped Funches-Wade from going out and trying to right what she feels were wrongs during the episode. Specifically, she's angry that during a 2012 arrest for child abduction and unlawful visitation (which we highlighted here), she was harassed and injured. And, she says, it was all done under the watchful eye of Wade's lawyers and the Chicago-area police.
Because of this, she's now suing Wade's lawyers and a group of those police for $50,000. At the center of the claim is her assertation that the group of arresting parties called her and friend "bit**es" and one of the cops wrenched her arm and tore her rotator cuff.
The former Mrs. Wade also accuses one of the cops present that night, Timothy Baldermann, of pretending to be the Chief of the Chicago Ridge Police Department at the scene of the arrest. Baldermann used to hold that title before retired from the post in 2010.
