Over the past week, the main national story has been the revelation of a tape that showed now-former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice knocking out his wife Jenay in a hotel elevator. Before the tape was made public by TMZ, the NFL had suspended Rice for two games under a vague domestic abuse policy, which has been made stricter since the start of the season.
However, since the tape's release, the Ravens released Rice and the NFL suspended him indefinitely, which prevented any team from claiming him. Even the Canadian Football League, where many past and current NFL players go, said they would honor the NFL's ban. However, one person we hadn't heard from had been Jenay — until now.
The last time she had been seen was during the press conference when Rice apologized to everyone — team, teammates, sponsors — for the pain he caused, except Jenay. Her contribution to the presser was when she apologized for her role in the incident. So when news broke, everyone was waiting with baited breath for her reaction, which she released via Instagram, pictured here on the left.
It will be interesting to see how this will play out in the near future as the Rices, as she puts it, "continue to grow and show the world what real love is!"
